Like Austria, Spain, and the Netherlands, eBay Belgium has not adopted a free-selling policy for private sellers. Private sellers (vendeurs particuliers / particuliere verkopers) still pay a real commission, a fixed order fee, and a regulatory fee on every sale. The commission is calculated on the total amount of the sale (item price, postage, and any applicable tax). Most categories charge their listed rate on the first €990 of the sale, then 2% on the remainder, though several electronics-related categories use a lower €200–€300 threshold instead.

Note the two highlighted rows above: Household Appliances and general Electronics Devices sit under the same page heading on eBay's own Belgian fee schedule, but they are charged at genuinely different rates, 11% versus 6.5%, both sharing the same €300 threshold. This calculator treats them as separate categories so the difference isn't lost. Also note Belgium's Auto & Motorcycle Parts rate is 11% with a €300 threshold, which is lower than the 12% rate confirmed on eBay Austria, so the two markets should not be assumed identical.
A flat €0.35 fixed per-order fee applies on top of the percentage shown, for every category, regardless of order value, unlike Germany or Austria which split this fee at an €10 order-value threshold. Rates shown are excluding VAT (TVA/BTW); eBay adds VAT separately.

A Boutique Classique, À la Une, or Premium subscription (Basiswinkel, Topwinkel, or Topwinkel Plus in Dutch) increases your monthly free-listing allowance and lowers your per-extra-listing fee, but it does not lower your final value fee. eBay states plainly that transaction fees are the same for sellers with or without a Shop subscription, which is why Shop level is not a field in this calculator.

No Top Rated discount: official eBay Belgium pages document no separate percentage discount for Top Fiabilité (Top Rated) status. This is a genuine difference from Germany and Austria, where a top-tier Shop subscription combined with Top Rated status does cut fees. Top Rated status on eBay.be still carries other benefits (a badge, better visibility), but no fee reduction, which is why Top Rated is not offered as a Seller Level option in this calculator.
Performance insuffisante (Below Standard): sellers rated below eBay's minimum performance level pay an extra 6 percentage points of commission on the following month's sales, on the total sale amount. eBay's own example: a commission of 11% plus the per-order fee becomes 17% plus the per-order fee. After 4 or more consecutive months rated Performance insuffisante, this rises to 7 extra points, which this calculator does not model. Sellers rated Très bon vendeur (Above Standard) or Top Fiabilité are exempt.

It is a fee eBay introduced across several European sites in April 2024 to cover rising regulatory compliance costs. Business sellers pay 0.35% of the total sale amount (excluding VAT); private sellers pay the equivalent 0.42% figure, which already includes VAT. Both are the same underlying rate, just shown with or without tax.
For private sellers, it is €0.05 for orders under €10.00 and €0.35 for orders of €10.00 or more. For business sellers, it is a flat €0.35 regardless of order value, with no €0.45 tier at all, which is different from Germany and Austria's €0.35/€0.45 split.
