Private sellers (vendedores particulares) still pay a real commission, a fixed order fee, and a regulatory operating fee on every sale. The commission is calculated on the total amount of the sale (item price, handling costs, shipping service, and any applicable tax). Most categories share the same 9% rate as the default bucket, but several use a lower threshold before the 2% marginal rate kicks in, instead of a different percentage.

A Tienda (Básica, Avanzada, or Premium) increases your monthly free-listing allowance and adds marketing tools, but it does not give a direct final value fee percentage discount. Premium subscribers can qualify for a separate, discretionary quarterly rebate based on year-over-year sales growth, but it requires 15+ months of active selling history and is not guaranteed, so it is not modeled in this calculator.

No Top Rated discount: eBay Spain removed its 10% final value fee discount for Vendedor Excelente (Top Rated) sellers on 1 April 2022, as part of aligning fee conditions across EU markets. Notable and Excelente sellers today simply avoid the penalty below; there is no additional percentage taken off the standard rate. This is why Top Rated is not offered as a Seller Level option in this calculator, unlike several other eBay marketplaces.

A separate surcharge of +4 percentage points applies to sellers with a very high rate of "item significantly not as described" cases; this calculator does not model that surcharge either.
