Since 1 September 2026, selling on ebay.fr has been free for private sellers (vendeurs particuliers) with a registered address in the European Economic Area: no final value fee, no regulatory operating fee, and no fixed order fee, in every category. Business sellers (vendeurs professionnels) pay a category-based commission plus a flat fixed fee and a regulatory operating fee.

The commission is calculated on the total amount of the sale (item price, postage, VAT, and any other applicable fees). Several categories charge one rate up to a threshold, then a lower rate on the portion above it.

A Boutique (Basique, À la Une, or Premium) increases your monthly free-listing allowance and reduces per-listing insertion fees, but it does not lower your final value fee. eBay states plainly that transaction fees are the same with or without a Boutique, which is why Boutique level is not a field in this calculator.

Top Fiabilité Plus: business sellers with Top Rated status (Vendeur Top Fiabilité) get a 10% discount on the variable portion of the commission, on listings that offer free domestic shipping, at least a 30-day return window, 0-1 day handling, and tracked delivery for items worth €25 or more. The discount never applies to the €0.35 fixed fee.
Below Standard (Performance insuffisante): sellers rated below eBay's minimum performance standards on the 20th of the month pay an extra 6 percentage points of commission on the following month's sales, on the total sale amount. eBay's own example: a commission of 11% + €0.35 becomes 17% + €0.35. After 4 or more consecutive months below standard, this rises to 7 extra points, which this calculator does not model. Sellers rated Très bon vendeur or Top Fiabilité are exempt from this surcharge.
